  • Beatrice Keul, a former Miss Switzerland contestant, has accused US President Donald Trump of sexual assault during an alleged 1993 encounter at the Plaza Hotel in New York.
The White House rejected the allegations, calling the report a political attempt to distract from Trump’s achievements.

A former Miss Switzerland contestant has accused US President Donald Trump of sexual assault during an alleged encounter in 1993, according to a report released by House Democrats examining his alleged connections to Jeffrey Epstein.

Beatrice Keul, a former model who previously accused Trump of unwanted sexual advances during the same incident, told Democratic staff on the House Judiciary Committee that the alleged assault took place at the Plaza Hotel in New York, which Trump owned at the time.

According to the report, Keul described the incident as “brutal” and alleged that Trump forcibly assaulted her, leaving her with bleeding and bruising.

The White House rejected the allegations, describing the report as a political attempt to undermine Trump.

“This ‘report’ is nothing more than a desperate attempt by crazed Democrats to distract Americans from the surging Republican momentum driven by President Trump’s historic achievements,” a White House spokesman said.

Keul describes the alleged encounter
According to the report, Keul met Trump at a pageant-related press event when she was 24. She alleged that Trump offered to help arrange a visa for her and secure her admission to New York University, telling her, “I will take care of you.”

Keul said she was subsequently approached by Epstein, who allegedly introduced himself as Trump’s best friend and invited her to a party at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago property in Florida.

The report states that a representative for Trump later invited Keul to meet him upstairs at the Plaza Hotel.

“Upon entering, Trump reportedly grabbed Keul from behind and forcibly assaulted her; in the process, tearing her dress and causing bleeding and bruising on multiple parts of her body,” the report said.

According to the account, Trump later repeated his promises to help her obtain a visa and gain admission to NYU, while allegedly demanding that she remain silent.

The allegations have not been independently established based on the information provided in the report.

Earlier allegations in 2024
In October 2024, Keul publicly accused Trump of groping her during the 1993 encounter. In an interview with the Daily Mail, she said he kissed her on the lips and neck, attempted to lift her dress, and touched her body without her consent.

At the time, Keul said she managed to stop the encounter from escalating by insisting that they talk first.

A longtime friend reportedly told the newspaper that Keul had first shared her account of the alleged unwanted advances with him about 20 years earlier and that her description had remained consistent.

Trump’s representatives dismissed the earlier allegations as false.

Report details allegations involving Epstein
The House Democrats’ report also summarizes allegations from four other women who have accused Trump of sexual assault.

Jamie Raskin, the top Democrat on the House Judiciary Committee, said five women had directly accused Trump of sexual assault in Epstein’s company or presence. He also alleged that other women had described attempts by Epstein or his associate Ghislaine Maxwell to traffic them to Trump.

The report further alleges that Trump, Epstein and others used a pageant held at the Plaza Hotel as a setting to target vulnerable women and girls.

These statements reflect allegations presented by Democrats and should not be treated as independently proven findings.

Epstein, who was convicted of sex offenses and later faced federal sex trafficking charges, died in a New York jail in 2019 while awaiting trial. Trump has said he ended his association with Epstein before the financier’s criminal activities became widely known and has described him as a “creep.”

The White House has maintained that Trump was cleared of wrongdoing related to Epstein.

Political fallout ahead of midterm elections
The report’s release comes shortly before the 2026 US midterm elections, with Democrats highlighting the Epstein case as a source of scrutiny for the president and his administration.

Raskin accused the Justice Department of concealing information to protect Trump, an allegation the report’s release does not independently establish.

The renewed allegations add to political pressure surrounding the handling of records related to Epstein. Trump has denied wrongdoing, and the claims against him remain allegations rather than established legal findings.
