The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement on Thursday, condemning an attack by the Houthis targeting King Fahd International Airport in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.

The statement said that the attack resulted in two fatalities, left several others injured, and caused material damage at the facility.

Qatari authorities characterized the strike as a "grave violation" of Saudi Arabian sovereignty and a direct threat to regional security, civilian infrastructure, and international aviation safety.

The Ministry reaffirmed Qatar’s complete solidarity with Saudi Arabia, stating full support for any legitimate security measures Riyadh takes to safeguard its national sovereignty, territorial integrity, and public safety.

The statement further emphasized that Saudi Arabia’s security remains an indispensable component of Qatar’s security and the collective security framework of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).

Qatar concluded its statement by offering condolences to the families of the deceased and wishing a swift recovery for those injured.
