  • The attack occurred at a farm in the al-Manatir area
  • The incident follows a house fire in the same town on Friday evening

Around 20 sheep were killed on Saturday after being stabbed in the town of Kafr Malik, located east of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank, WAFA news agency reported.

The incident took place at a farm belonging to the Darbani family in the al-Manatir area east of the town. Local reports attributed the attack to members of the "Hilltop Youth," a hardline ‘Israeli’ settler group known for operating out of unauthorized outposts in the West Bank.

The livestock attack follows an escalation in the village the previous night.

On Friday evening, a fire broke out at a residential home belonging to the Rasmi Hamayel family in Kafr Malik.

Local residents reported that the blaze was ignited by tear gas canisters deployed by ‘Israeli’ military forces during a raid on the town.
