Houthi military spokesman Yahya Saree issued a statement claiming that the group launched ballistic missile strikes against targets inside Saudi Arabia and in Yemen's Lahj province.
Saree claimed that Houthi forces targeted King Khalid International Airport in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, using a ballistic missile, alleging that the missile scored a "precise and direct hit".
In the same statement, Saree alleged that a separate operation involving three ballistic missiles targeted troop concentrations in the Ras Al-Arah and Al-Madaribah areas of Lahj province.
The Houthi spokesman claimed that the strikes in Lahj inflicted heavy casualties on opposing forces, resulting in dead and wounded personnel alongside the disablement and destruction of multiple military vehicles.
