- Commercial airlines are advised to evaluate potential operational risks when planning and operating flights in Jordanian airspace.
- The updated Conflict Zone Information Bulletin (CZIB) for Jordan remains extended through November 16, 2026.
The European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) relaxed its security advisory regarding Jordanian airspace on Wednesday, modifying its operational guidelines for European airlines.
In an updated directive posted to its website, EASA advised commercial carriers to evaluate and factor potential operational risks into their flight planning when transiting or operating within Jordanian airspace.
The updated guidance replaces a previous bulletin that had instructed air operators to avoid the airspace entirely across all flight levels.
Bulletin extended through mid-November
EASA confirmed that the Conflict Zone Information Bulletin (CZIB) covering Jordan has been officially extended and will remain valid until November 16, 2026.
The agency noted that it continues to monitor regional airspace developments closely in coordination with EU member states and aviation authorities to adjust risk levels as conditions evolve.
