US President Donald Trump condemned a lethal attack on Riyadh's international airport that killed at least 12 people on Saturday, characterizing the assault as "not acceptable."
Speaking to reporters at Joint Base Andrews on Saturday following the attack, which has been blamed on Yemen's Houthi movement, US President Trump stated that he intends to discuss the incident directly with Saudi leadership.
"What happened in Saudi Arabia's not acceptable," Trump added during his brief remarks to the press.
In his statements, US President Trump confirmed that he "will be speaking" with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, to address the attack and its broader regional implications.
The US President offered no additional details regarding potential political or military responses during his interaction with reporters at the base.
