Donald Trump targeted Abdulrahman El-Sayed, a Muslim Democratic candidate for a Michigan Senate seat, misnaming him "Mohammed" on Truth Social while accusing him of being a "radical extremist" and "terrorist sympathizer."

Trump also stated that El-Sayed “goes back to the days of the Jihad. He is a radical Extremist.”

Trump called El-Sayed a “terrible Candidate for the Dumocrats. While his opponent, Mike Rogers, is an extremely good one,” and he also compared him to Hasan Piker.

He said, “Mohammed’s Values are not exactly those of Michiganders, or those of our Great United States of America! He is wrong for Michigan, and wrong for America. Vote for Mike Rogers — He has my complete and total endorsement, and will never let you down.”

El-Sayed responded, saying that Trump knows his name and that “he says it everyday.”

He added: “He’s not just attacking me. He’s attacking all of us. He thinks so low of us. He thinks he can use my name and my faith to distract us from the suffering his policies are inflicting on us at the pump, at the grocery store, and at the doctor’s office. He thinks we don’t know any better.”
