  • Yemeni forces recaptured Al-Maqarma, Al-Zakira, and the strategic Al-Ja'sha Mountain in Taiz Governorate following battles with Houthis.
  • Heavy fighting continues across Jabal Habashi, Al-Kadhah, and Ash-Shamayatayn, alongside military strikes on Houthi infrastructure in Sanaa and Saada.
  • Military authorities pledged to target and eliminate insurgent combat capabilities across all active fronts to secure the region.

Yemeni government forces announced on Sunday the recapture of key territories in Taiz Governorate and the targeting of vital Houthi facilities in Sanaa and Saada, following decisive military clashes against Houthi forces.

According to official military statements, army units secured full operational control over the "Al-Maqarma" and "Al-Zakira" areas, while successfully taking the strategic "Al-Ja'sha" Mountain located in Uzlat Same’a, south of Taiz.

The territorial advances follow intense battles aimed at dislodging rebel fighters from key elevated positions and ground corridors in the province.

Official sources confirmed that comprehensive military engagements remain active across three major fronts: Jabal Habashi, Al-Kadhah, and Ash-Shamayatayn.

Concurrently, government forces directed targeted strikes against vital facilities belonging to the Houthi in both the capital, Sanaa, and the northern province of Saada.

Military authorities affirmed that the combat capabilities of the Houthis will not remain safe from army fire, claiming full commitment to destroying enemy targets to ensure long-term regional security in the upcoming phase.
