'Israeli' media: Flydubai incident investigated as terror act

i24NEWS reported Wednesday that the incident involving Flydubai flight FZ1073 is being investigated by 'Israeli' authorities as a possible act of terror.

The flight was traveling from Dubai to Tel Aviv on Wednesday when it experienced an incident involving the pilots and was diverted to Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. Flydubai said the aircraft landed safely and that all passengers and crew were safe and accounted for.

The incident initially triggered fears of a hijacking after the aircraft transmitted emergency signals, including code 7500, which indicates unlawful interference. ‘Israel’ scrambled fighter jets in response to the alert. ‘Israeli’ officials subsequently said the incident was not a hijacking and described it as a physical altercation between the pilots, only to return to the initial terror act suspicion later.
