Netanyahu teases “surprises” at UN speech

‘Israeli’ Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Wednesday he is heading to the United Nations and that his upcoming address will include surprises.
In a brief video message posted on X, Netanyahu stated he is leaving for New York to defend ‘Israel’ and the soldiers from the UN stage.

Netanyahu is scheduled to address the UN General Assembly on Thursday.
His visit will be unusually short: he is expected to arrive in the New York area that morning, deliver the speech around 2 PM local time, and depart for ‘Israel’ the same evening.
The remarks come amid heightened tensions with New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani, who recently called Netanyahu a “war criminal” and an “architect of a horrific genocide.”
In related comments, Netanyahu has said he will use the platform to “tell the truth” about ‘Israel’s’ soldiers and about Mamdani.
