Trump at UN claims Hamas killed “many beautiful tiny little babies” on October 7

Addressing world leaders at the United Nations General Assembly, US President Donald Trump pointed to the events of October 7 to justify US military strikes against Iran, claiming that Hamas tortured, mutilated, and killed 1,200 innocent civilians, including "many babies".

“In two weeks, we will mark the third anniversary of the October 7th attack in Israel, where terrorists funded by Iran tortured, mutilated and killed 1,200 very innocent civilians, including dozens of Americans and many babies. Babies, little, tiny, beautiful babies,” Trump said at the UN.

Trump’s claims regarding systematic killing of babies reflect unverified reports that emerged in the initial aftermath of the events of that day.

Early accounts circulating after October 7—including allegations of dozens of beheaded or mutilated infants—were widely cited by political figures.

However, subsequent independent journalistic investigations, international body assessments, and official ‘Israeli’ forensic records found no evidence to support claims of mass infant beheadings or systematic mutilations.

In his speech, Trump used the October 7 allegations to frame the ongoing US war against Tehran.

Trump claimed these military actions successfully destroyed Iran's nuclear program, crippled its air defenses, and sank 159 Iranian naval vessels following Tehran's refusal to accept an economic cooperation deal in exchange for dismantling its nuclear capacity.

He accused the Iranian leadership of domestic brutality, asserting that Tehran slaughtered tens of thousands of its own citizens during internal demonstrations.
