The fundraiser

She recorded paid personalized Cameo videos and directed the proceeds to Save the Children's emergency fund, saying the full amount of donations would go to the nonprofit. She raised more than $50,000 within a couple of hours, and the money supported children in Sudan, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Ukraine as well as Gaza.
Continued advocacy and criticism
Accurso has continued to speak on the issue. In May 2025, she posted a video singing "Hop Little Bunnies" with Rahaf, a 3-year-old Palestinian girl who lost her legs in an airstrike.
In a July 2025 Instagram post, Accurso said she is not comfortable working with anyone who has not spoken out about Gaza.
