‘Israeli’ strike kills 2, injures several in Gaza cafe

• The strike occured amid continued violations of the ceasefire in effect since October 10, 2025; Gaza's Health Ministry reports 1,381 Palestinians killed and 4,757 injured from ceasefire violations since it began.

An ‘Israeli’ strike on Shareef café  in the Al-Bureij refugee camp killed two Palestinians and wounded several others Wednesday, according to Palestinian sources. 

Among those killed were a five-year-old child, identified as Odai al-Maridi, and Mohammad Eid. Several other people, including children, were injured in the attack.

The strike was part of a broader wave of attacks across Gaza on Wednesday. Medical sources said the day's overall Palestinian death toll rose to two, with 11 people wounded across separate incidents. 

A separate strike hit a home in the Tuffah neighborhood of eastern Gaza City, killing one person and wounding two others; witnesses said that strike targeted a home.

The attacks came amid continued ‘Israeli’ violations of the ceasefire agreement that has been in effect in Gaza since Oct. 10, 2025. 

Gaza's Health Ministry has said that, since the ceasefire took effect, ‘Israeli; violations of the truce have killed 1,381 Palestinians and injured 4,757 others.

Al-Bureij, home to roughly 46,000 registered Palestinian refugees, has repeatedly been the site of ‘Israeli’ strikes throughout the war, including previous attacks on the camp's residential areas and gatherings of civilians.
