Bahrain also condemned Houthi attacks targeting Saudi Arabia.
The statement came after Bahrain said it would not participate in an Iran-planned regional meeting on control of the Strait of Hormuz, which had been scheduled for Monday in Oman before being canceled.
The meeting was intended to bring together Iran and Gulf states to discuss navigation through the strategic waterway, which is a major route for global oil and commercial shipping.
