4 hours ago|- The Iranian foreign ministry asserted that Iran does not interfere in Yemeni affairs.
Iran's foreign ministry on Monday denied the country had any involvement in the Yemen war.
This follows the Houthi movement's seizure of territory across the Red Sea coast.
"Iran does not interfere in Yemeni affairs," ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baqaei told reporters, saying the Houthis are "entirely independent actors who make their decisions based on their own interests".
