Jordan, through the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) and in cooperation with the Jordan Armed Forces, has dispatched Thursday the 13th convoy of humanitarian aid bound for Lebanon, in partnership with the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP).

The convoy comprised 14 trucks loaded with medical materials and supplies, as well as personal hygiene parcels, as part of an initiative aimed at meeting the field needs of the health sector and supporting the most vulnerable groups in Lebanon.

The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization expressed its appreciation to the Syrian authorities for facilitating the convoy's passage through Syrian territory, affirming its continued coordination with official Lebanese bodies to ensure the aid reaches those who need it smoothly and effectively.

With this 13th convoy, the total Jordanian aid sent to Lebanon since the beginning of the crisis now stands at 239 trucks, which carried approximately 2,756 tons of various relief materials.
