- Trump placed himself in a standalone tier above founding figures like George Washington and Abraham Lincoln in a Truth Social post.
US President Donald Trump reshared a graphic on Truth Social on Monday ranking himself as the greatest president in American history.
The chart, posted to Trump's account, sorted 34 US presidents into six tiers: "The Greatest,Great, Near Great, Average, Below Average and Failures."
Trump occupied "The Greatest" tier alone by himself. Washington, Lincoln, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Thomas Jefferson, Woodrow Wilson and Andrew Jackson were placed one rung below, in the "Great" category.
At the other end of the ranking, former Presidents Joe Biden, Barack Obama and Jimmy Carter were listed among the "Failures."
Some observers noted the ranking was shared after an Economist/YouGov poll put Trump's net approval rating in negative territory across most states, at roughly minus 26 points nationwide.
Labor day post
Seperately, Trump claimed the Democrats, whom he dubs "Dumocrats" will do anything possible to destroy the US, saying they "should finally acknowledge that your Favorite President (ME!), knows how to WIN!"
He concluded this Labor day post by saying that he's "going to win the Midterms, BIG, and SAVE AMERICA!"
