Jordan on Thursday launched “Farah,” a digital spokesperson service developed using artificial intelligence (AI) technology as part of the government’s efforts to expand the use of digital tools in public communication.
The initiative, described by the government as the “first of its kind” in the region and the world, aims to deliver information to citizens and stakeholders in a clear and simplified manner.
Minister of Government Communication and Official Spokesperson Mohammad Al-Momani said “Farah” will be used to communicate with the public, explain government decisions and policies, and make official information more accessible.
He added that the initiative is intended to improve the speed and accuracy of official information delivery, enhance access to government information, and expand communication channels between the government and citizens.
Farah speaks in both Arabic and English.
