One person has died and five others were injured after gunfire broke out during an overnight event in northern Switzerland, prompting a large-scale law enforcement response and an active manhunt for the gunman.
The shooting occurred near a horse racing track in Schachen, located in the town of Aarau, approximately 46 kilometers (29 miles) west of Zurich.
