US Ambassador to 'Israel' Mike Huckabee publicly endorsed statements made by 'Israeli' President Isaac Herzog rebuking recent violent attacks carried out by extremist settlers against Palestinian communities in the occupied West Bank.

Writing on social media, US Ambassador Huckabee highlighted Herzog's stance, noting that the president's message reflects a broader condemnation of violent acts in the territory.

The comments came in response to President Herzog's sharp criticism of severe violent events in Khirbet Qalzas, near Hebron, where Jewish extremists clashed with residents and vandalized property.

"Strong statement by President of Israel which shows universal condemnation of violence in Judea/Samaria," Ambassador Huckabee posted on X. "The half-million Israelis living peacefully... are most disgusted by small group of thugs often called 'settlers' who often don't even live there."

In his initial statement, the 'Israeli' President Herzog described the violence in Khirbet Qalzas as an act committed by lawbreakers acting in complete violation of 'Israeli' law and values.

Herzog emphasized that such incidents constitute part of a pattern that harms the country's international standing and demands firm law enforcement measures.

Human rights organizations and Palestinian community officials have repeatedly warned of escalating settler attacks across the occupied West Bank, urging international governments and enforcement agencies to hold perpetrators accountable and protect civilian populations.
