  • A newlywed woman was among those killed in an ‘Israeli’ strike on southern Lebanon.

A Lebanese woman was killed on Thursday by an 'Israeli' airstrike targeting a residential home in the southern Lebanese town of Arabsalim, just 48 hours after her wedding, according to Lebanon’s official National News Agency (NNA).

'Israeli' warplanes bombarded the home of Saja Sharara, 28, in the Iqlim al-Tuffah district, killing her instantly and wounding several local residents.

Minutes after the initial strike, 'Israeli' aircraft launched a secondary attack on the same village, inflicting further injuries among civilians.

The bombardment of Arabsalim is part of a wider wave of airstrikes, artillery shelling, and military incursions conducted by 'Israeli' forces across southern Lebanese towns and villages.
