'Israeli' army says it targeted Hezbollah site in south Lebanon

The ‘Israeli’ army said Thursday that it struck what it described as “Hezbollah infrastructure” in the Nabatieh area of southern Lebanon.

The army claimed the strikes were carried out in response to an earlier Hezbollah attack involving two explosive drones targeting ‘Israeli’ soldiers.

According to the army, the strikes hit Hezbollah “weapon storage facilities” that it said had been established to target ‘Israeli’ civilians and soldiers.

The claims have not been independently verified.

The strikes come amid continued tensions along the Lebanon-‘Israel’ border despite international efforts to prevent further escalation in the region.
