The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) has condemned Houthi attacks targeting Najran in southern Saudi Arabia that wounded several civilians.

GCC Secretary-General Jassim Mohammed Albudaiwi described the strikes as an “act of terror that breaches both international and humanitarian law.”

Albudaiwi stressed that the security of Saudi Arabia is inseparable from that of other GCC member states, reaffirming the bloc’s support for Riyadh’s efforts to protect its borders and sovereignty.

The GCC chief said the attacks represented a threat to regional security and stability, while calling for respect for international law and the protection of civilians.
