A controversial billboard featuring far-right activist Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, better known as Tommy Robinson, was removed and damaged hours after appearing in Luton town centre.

The billboard showed Robinson’s image alongside the slogan: “Israel first: we proudly put Israel before Great Britain.”

In a video shared on his X account, Robinson said he had been informed about the billboard and went to see it himself. However, when he arrived, the display had already been torn down, with only damaged pieces of the poster remaining on the frame.

Robinson also shared footage showing workers installing the billboard.

It remains unclear who commissioned the billboard or whether it was part of a wider campaign. Robinson, who has been a vocal supporter of 'Israel', has previously faced criticism over his public displays of support for 'Israel' and hate towards Islam.
