Iran’s military spokesperson Mohammad Akraminia said Tehran has suspended its retaliatory operations after the United States stopped its attacks over the past two nights.

Speaking to Iranian state television, Akraminia said Iran’s approach is based on responding in kind.

"The United States stopped its attacks during the past two nights, and since Iran’s strategy is based on reciprocal response, Iranian counter-operations have also stopped," he said.

Tehran questions US strategy
Asked whether the pause in US strikes represented a unilateral ceasefire, Akraminia said Washington had not yet adopted a clear strategy.

He claimed the current situation showed that the US was facing uncertainty and internal challenges in making strategic decisions.
