Tehran says US breaches fueled Hormuz insecurity

Iran's Foreign Ministry said Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi discussed the consequences of what Tehran described as US violations of the terms of an agreement to end the war during a meeting with his Chinese counterpart.

According to Iranian state media, Araghchi told the Chinese foreign minister that insecurity in the Strait of Hormuz was caused by the United States allegedly failing to honor its commitments.

Iran has repeatedly accused Washington of undermining diplomatic arrangements, while US officials have rejected Tehran's claims and defended their actions in the region.
