‘Israeli’ Minister of “Diaspora Affairs and Combating Antisemitism” Amichai Chikli delivered a scathing critique of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Ankara’s policies during a closed event launching a new study by the Jerusalem Center for Applied Policy (JCAP).

Shushan stated that around six or seven years ago, an ‘Israeli’ doctor was sent at Mossad’s request and with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s approval to treat Erdogan’s serious illness (reportedly cancer).
“This man, who today threatens the Jews, is alive and breathing thanks to a Jew, thanks to an Israeli, thanks to Benjamin Netanyahu and thanks to David Barnea,” Shushan had said.
In his remarks, Chikli slammed what he claimed was Turkey’s ingratitude.
“The ingratitude of Turkey, after the State of Israel sent a huge delegation to rescue Turkish citizens in the largest earthquake to strike the country in recent years, is beyond imagination. And we even saved Erdogan’s life. Therefore, this is extremely disappointing, but this is the reality of fanaticism,” he stated.
‘Israel’ provided humanitarian aid after the 2023 earthquakes, including search-and-rescue teams that saved lives and a field hospital.
Chikli went further, describing Erdogan as “a combination of Hitler and Sinwar.”
He elaborated: “Hitler – in terms of his imperialist, fanatical and racist aspirations toward the region, and also in terms of the intention, and not only the intention but also the actions, of ethnic cleansing of any non-Muslim minority in the region.”
The minister called for the immediate closure of Turkey’s consulate in Jerusalem and the removal of all Turkish presence from ‘Israel’.
“We must prepare for war with Turkey,” he said, noting possible direct naval confrontations.
