Bahrain Air Defense intercepted waves of Iranian strikes

The General Command of the Bahrain Defense Force (BDF) announced on Tuesday, that its air defense systems successfully intercepted and destroyed multiple incoming Iranian aerial attacks targeting the kingdom.

In an official statement, military commanders reported that BDF air defense units engaged the threats with high combat readiness and resolve, thwarting what it characterized as a continuation of Iran's systematic aggression against civilian populations and private property.

Violations of international law 

The General Command emphasized that all military branches and units across the kingdom are operating at the highest levels of defensive alert to ensure the protection of Bahrain's sovereignty and public safety.

The statement strongly criticized the deliberate deployment of ballistic missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles against civilian infrastructure:

"The deliberate targeting of civilians and private property using missiles and drones constitutes a blatant violation of international humanitarian law," the BDF General Command stated.

Safety warnings 

Following the interceptions, military leadership urged citizens and residents to exercise extreme caution.

The public was instructed to maintain a safe distance from any unidentified or suspicious objects resulting from the attack's wreckage and to report them immediately to emergency authorities.

The BDF assured the public that specialized bomb disposal teams from the Royal Field Engineering unit are fully prepared to secure and neutralize hazardous remnants across affected areas.

Commanders expressed pride in the vigilance and readiness demonstrated by service personnel defending the country.
