Pink Floyd co-founder Roger Waters claimed he was denied accommodation at several hotels and had concerts canceled because of his criticism of 'Israel', during an interview with American commentator Tucker Carlson.

Speaking on The Tucker Carlson Show, Waters said the difficulties intensified during his 2023 tour, alleging that he was unable to secure hotel accommodations in several South American cities.

"I couldn't find a hotel to stay anywhere in Buenos Aires, or in Colombia, or in Ecuador," Waters said.

When Carlson asked whether the refusals were linked to his criticism of 'Israel', Waters replied, "Yes."

Waters also said he was unable to stay in Montevideo, Uruguay, adding that during a brief stay in Quito, Ecuador, organizers "had to pretend I wasn't there."

Asked why such incidents would occur far from 'Israel', Waters said that "there's an Israeli lobby that is very organized" in several countries, including Argentina, Uruguay, Ecuador, and Germany.

The musician added that attempts were made to stop his performances in Europe, saying his concert in Frankfurt, Germany, faced efforts to cancel it, while a scheduled performance in Kraków, Poland, was ultimately canceled in 2023.

According to Waters, the cancellations stemmed from his opposition to 'Israel's' actions in Gaza.

"They wanted to cancel me because I was critical of the genocide," he said, adding that others remain silent out of fear of facing similar consequences.

Waters, a longtime advocate for Palestinian rights, has frequently criticized 'Israel's' policies toward Palestinians. His statements have drawn both support and criticism over the years, with some organizations accusing him of antisemitism, allegations he has repeatedly denied.
