Jordan army says shot down four drones last 24 hours

The Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF) said Saturday that its aircraft intercepted and shot down four drones that entered the Kingdom's airspace over the past 24 hours.

The statement said no casualties or material damage were reported as a result of the interceptions.

“The armed forces remain fully prepared to counter any threat targeting the Kingdom's security and the safety of its citizens, whether from drones or missiles, and will take all necessary operational measures to intercept and neutralize such threats,” the JAF concluded the statement.
