  • Arab countries condemned Iranian strikes targeting US allies in the region, including Oman, Jordan, Kuwait, and Qatar.
  • Officials called for diplomacy while accusing Iran of violating regional sovereignty and international law.

Several Arab countries have condemned Iranian strikes targeting US allies in the region, following a wave of retaliatory attacks after the US escalated military operations against Iran this week.

Iranian military actions struck multiple locations from late Tuesday into early Wednesday, including Oman, Jordan, Kuwait, and Qatar, according to reports. An Iranian missile and drone attack also killed nine fighters from an Iranian-Kurdish group in Iraq, according to an Iraqi official.

The United Arab Emirates condemned the attack on Iraq, with its foreign minister describing it as a "flagrant violation" of Iraq’s and Iraqi Kurdistan’s sovereignty.

Qatar called for a return to diplomatic efforts, urging "a serious return to dialogue and negotiations" and the implementation of understandings reached through diplomatic channels.

Jordan’s foreign minister denounced what he described as "brutal Iranian attacks," calling them a "blatant breach of international law."

Kuwait’s foreign minister also issued a strong condemnation of what he called "recent reprehensible Iranian aggressions."

The statements came as tensions continue to escalate across the Middle East, with Iran and the US trading strikes and regional governments warning against further expansion of hostilities.

The latest attacks have raised concerns among Gulf states over the risk of a broader confrontation affecting security, energy infrastructure, and regional stability.
