Bahrain says it thwarted ‘treacherous’ Iranian attacks

Bahrain’s military said Monday that its air defense systems intercepted Iranian missile and drone attacks targeting the Gulf kingdom.

In a statement, the Bahraini army accused Iran of systematically targeting civilians and private property, describing the reported attacks as “treacherous Iranian aerial attacks.”

The military said all units have been placed on high alert to protect the country and warned the public not to approach suspicious debris, urging residents to report any findings immediately.

Bahrain’s armed forces said they remain at “advanced combat readiness” and praised personnel for their role in defending the kingdom.
