Jordan says three Iranian missiles fell inside kingdom
Three missiles launched from Iran fell at several locations inside Jordan early Sunday, causing minor material damage but no injuries, the Jordan Armed Forces said.
A military source from the General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces - Arab Army said Royal Engineering Corps teams immediately moved to the sites to secure the areas and handle missile debris according to approved technical procedures.
The source added that relevant authorities are continuing to monitor the situation on the ground.
The Jordan Armed Forces said it will not allow Jordanian airspace or territory to be used as a battlefield or as a threat to the country’s security and stability, adding that all military units remain on high alert to respond to any potential threats.
Iran launched strikes on US military targets across the Gulf, Iran state media reports
Iran targeted several US military sites across the Gulf early Sunday, Iranian state media reported, following recent US attacks.
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) launched ballistic missiles toward Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, according to Iranian state broadcaster IRIB.
IRIB also reported that the IRGC carried out a “heavy and surprise attack” on logistics support facilities for naval vessels and refueling platforms used by US aircraft carriers at the Port of Duqm in Oman.
Iran’s army separately claimed it launched loitering drones against US military assets in Kuwait, including a Patriot air defense system. It also said it targeted a communications system and radar installation belonging to US forces in Bahrain, home to the US 5th Fleet.
The claims could not be independently verified. US Central Command has been contacted for comment.
Qatar and Kuwait said they intercepted aerial attacks early Sunday, while Bahrain activated sirens and urged residents to move to nearby safe locations.
Crew of container ship hit off Omani coast rescued
The crew of a container ship attacked off the coast of Oman has been rescued by local authorities, the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) said, citing the vessel’s company security officer.
UKMTO had earlier reported that a fire broke out aboard the ship after the attack, forcing the crew to abandon the vessel and leave by lifeboat.
US Central Command (CENTCOM) said the Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) attacked the M/V GFS Galaxy, causing a fire onboard and "significant engine room damage."

IRGC Navy says Strait of Hormuz temporarily closed until further notice
Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy said on Sunday that it has temporarily closed the Strait of Hormuz "until further notice," according to Iran's state broadcaster, IRIB.
In a statement carried by the broadcaster, the IRGC Navy said foreign interference and attempts to establish what it described as an "illegal route" for shipping through the strategic waterway would be met with a firm response.
The force said several vessels had ignored warnings to correct their course and remain within what it called the approved navigation route. It added that one vessel, which it accused of switching off its tracking systems and endangering maritime security, was stopped after warning shots were fired.
The IRGC Navy said no vessels would be allowed to transit the Strait of Hormuz until what it described as US interference in the area comes to an end.
It also warned that any new attack or violation would be met with a forceful response, including strikes on what it called new enemy bases in the region.
At the same time, a US official said the IRGC fired a missile at a commercial cargo ship attempting to pass through the Strait of Hormuz. The official said the vessel was hit and sustained damage.
