Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has issued a stern warning regarding the future of the regional memorandum of understanding, accusing the United States and 'Israel' of committing violations that jeopardize broader diplomatic efforts.

According to official statements released on Monday, Araghchi made it clear that Western and 'Israeli' actions are actively undermining the fragile diplomatic framework designed to stabilize the region.

Violations blocking stability

The Foreign Minister explicitly pointed to actions taken by Washington and 'Tel Aviv' as the primary barrier to peace. Araghchi stated that the ongoing violations of the memorandum of understanding by the United States and 'Israel' -specifically targeting the terms laid out in the agreement's first article- are actively obstructing all efforts to restore security and stability to the region.

Commitment for commitment

Despite the rising friction, Araghchi noted that Tehran's official policy remains oriented toward a reciprocal diplomatic resolution, provided the opposing signatories alter their current course.

The Foreign Minister emphasized that Iran is actively seeking to implement the memorandum of understanding in good faith. However, he stressed that this cooperation is strictly contingent upon the principle of "commitment for commitment," requiring equal compliance from all parties involved.

Concluding his address, Araghchi warned that Iran’s patience with unilateral infractions is limited.

He declared that Tehran will take decisive measures and actions against any further breaches or violations of the agreement perpetrated by the opposing side.
