Syria reports killing of two soldiers in attack in Aleppo province

The Syrian Ministry of Defense said on Saturday that two soldiers were killed in an attack carried out by unidentified gunmen near the city of Manbij in northeastern Syria, without providing further details.

The ministry noted that the incident comes two days after a similar attack targeted a Defense Ministry bus on the Tal Tamr–Ras al-Ayn road in the countryside of Hasakah.

Separately, Syria’s Interior Ministry said last week that one member of the Internal Security Forces was killed and three others wounded in a suicide attack claimed by ISIS in the city of Raqqa in northeastern Syria.
