'Israeli' air strikes across southern Lebanon and the Bekaa Valley killed 47 people and wounded 97 others between midnight and Friday afternoon, Lebanon's Ministry of Public Health said.

According to the ministry, the deadliest attack struck the southern town of Harouf, where nine people were killed, including three women, and 14 others were wounded.

Six people, including a child and a woman, were killed in al-Duweir, while seven people were reported killed in Haboush. In Arab Salim, three people, including a child, were killed, and another three people died in Tal Abyad near Baalbek, the ministry said.

Additional casualties were reported in several towns and villages, including al-Sharqiyah, Kfarsir, al-Qatrani, Nabatieh, Deir al-Zahrani, Kfar Rumman, Kfar Jouz, Jebchit, Qaqaiyat al-Jisr, Adshit, al-Rayhan, Abba, al-Abbasiya and Ain Bourdai.

The latest strikes come amid continued hostilities along the Lebanon-'Israel' front despite ongoing diplomatic efforts to reduce tensions.

The health ministry said that since March 2, 'Israeli' attacks on Lebanon have killed 3,980 people and wounded 12,001 others.

There was no immediate comment from the 'Israeli' military on the reported casualties.
