Day 102 | Iran and 'Israel' halt strikes against each other but warn of renewed attacks
'Israel' and Iran have suspended military operations against each other, easing fears of an immediate escalation in the regional conflict, though both sides warned they are prepared to resume attacks under certain conditions.
'Israeli' Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said 'Israel' has ceased strikes on Iran but stopped short of confirming a formal ceasefire, despite US President Donald Trump's earlier suggestion that the two countries were moving toward one.
Iran also announced the end of its military operations against 'Israel'. However, Tehran warned that its response would be renewed if 'Israel' resumes attacks on southern Lebanon or Iranian territory. Iran's armed forces said any future 'Israeli' action would be met with "a more crushing" response.
Signs of de-escalation were also visible on the ground. Iran's Civil Aviation Organization said the country's airspace has returned to "normal conditions," with flight operations expected to resume. In 'Israel', authorities said restrictions on schools and workplaces will be lifted from 6 a.m. local time on Tuesday.
Hezbollah claims 16 attacks on 'Israeli' forces in southern Lebanon
Hezbollah said it carried out 16 attacks against 'Israeli' forces in southern Lebanon on Monday, targeting troop concentrations, military vehicles and equipment in several areas including Beit Yahoun, Rachaf, Naqoura, at-Tiri and Aynata.
The group said its operations included drone strikes, guided missiles, artillery fire and loitering munitions, claiming to have hit communications and artillery positions as well as ammunition transport vehicles and military bulldozers.
Trump says US could declare "total victory" over Iran within two weeks
President Donald Trump said the United States could declare "total victory" over Iran within the next two weeks, claiming Tehran is willing to accept a deal that would prevent it from obtaining a nuclear weapon.
Speaking during a tele-rally for Sen. Lindsey Graham, Trump said negotiations were underway and predicted the outcome would help drive oil prices lower.
He acknowledged that reaching an agreement is taking time, saying Iran is "strong" and "proud" but ultimately has "no choice" but to make concessions.
'Israel' says it intercepts drone launched from Yemen near Eilat
The 'Israeli' military said it shot down a hostile drone launched from Yemen after sirens sounded in the southern city of Eilat.
The military said the unmanned aircraft was intercepted before it could pose a threat, while authorities reported no immediate casualties or damage.
