  • Palestinian Red Crescent says seven Palestinians, including two girls, were killed in an 'Israeli' airstrike in Gaza City.
  • More than 20 others were wounded, with several reported in critical condition.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society announced that the death toll from an 'Israeli' airstrike targeting a residential home in central Gaza City has risen to seven, including two young girls.

The strike also wounded more than 20 Palestinians, according to medical crews and local sources.

Initial reports from medical teams indicated that five Palestinians had been killed in the attack. Rescue and civil defense crews later recovered two additional bodies from beneath the rubble of the destroyed house, raising the death toll to seven.

Field sources said most of the casualties were displaced women and children sheltering inside the home at the time of the bombardment.

More than 20 wounded Palestinians were transferred to nearby field hospitals and medical centers for treatment. Medical staff said several of the injuries were critical.

Witnesses said the missile strike completely flattened the targeted house and caused severe damage to surrounding residential infrastructure in the neighborhood.

Emergency teams continued search and rescue operations amid difficult humanitarian conditions and ongoing attacks across the Gaza Strip.

In a separate update, medical sources inside Gaza hospitals said at least 18 Palestinians have been killed in 'Israeli' airstrikes and artillery shelling targeting multiple areas across the Gaza Strip since Tuesday morning.

Health officials warned that hospitals and field clinics are facing acute shortages of medicines, medical supplies, and emergency resources as the number of casualties continues to rise.
