  • ‘Israeli’ Transport Minister Miri Regev condemned detained Gaza flotilla activists after naval interception.
  • Regev said detainees will be processed and deported by ‘Israeli’ authorities.

‘Israeli’ Transport Minister Miri Regev has condemned international activists detained after an attempt to breach the naval blockade on the Gaza Strip.

The comments came in a video statement filmed at a naval port, where she said she observed the arrival of a vessel intercepted by the ‘Israeli’ Navy while approaching Gaza waters.

Activists labeled “terror supporters”

Regev described the passengers as “140 terror supporters” and claimed the ship carried no humanitarian aid.

“They arrive drugged, with alcohol,” she said, alleging the group’s intent was to undermine ‘Israel’s’ sovereignty and violate the maritime blockade imposed on Gaza.

She also said security measures were in place at the detention facility, including the continuous playing of the ‘Israeli’ national anthem, “Hatikvah.”

“Let them understand what happens to anyone who arrives in such a way in the State of Israel,” she said.

Regev said the detainees would be transferred to facilities operated by the ‘Israel’ Prison Service and the ‘Israeli’ Police before being deported to their countries of origin.

She praised the actions of the ‘Israeli’ Navy, police units, and prison personnel involved in the interception and processing operation.
