Talks between the US and Iran remain at an impasse, with US President Donald Trump describing Tehran’s response to a recent American proposal as “totally unacceptable.” Speaking on Sunday, Trump also accused Iran of “playing games” as both sides struggle to secure a long-term agreement amid a fragile ceasefire.

In ‘Israel’, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said there is still “work to be done” in the joint US-‘Israeli’ offensive against Iran. He stressed that Tehran has neither surrendered its enriched uranium stockpile nor dismantled its nuclear facilities, underscoring what he described as unresolved security concerns.

Netanyahu’s remarks came after a phone call with Trump on Sunday, during which the two leaders discussed the latest developments and the next steps regarding Iran.

Meanwhile, tensions in the Strait of Hormuz continue to escalate. Iran’s military warned that countries enforcing sanctions against Tehran will “face problems” if their vessels pass through the strategic waterway.

The warning follows recent exchanges of attacks between Iran and the US in the region’s critical maritime routes, raising fresh concerns over stability in one of the world’s most vital energy corridors.

Netanyahu says war with Iran is not over, accuses China of aiding missile program

'Israeli' Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in an interview with CBS that the war with Iran “is not over,” arguing that significant threats continue to exist despite what he described as major achievements by 'Israel' and its partners.

He said Iran still holds enriched uranium and maintains nuclear enrichment facilities that, in his view, require dismantling.

Netanyahu said Iran’s nuclear infrastructure has not been fully neutralized, stressing that enriched uranium “must still be removed” and that key enrichment sites remain operational targets.

He added that 'Israel' has inflicted “serious damage” on Iranian capabilities but said additional steps are still necessary.

Netanyahu said Iran continues to support regional proxy groups and is actively developing ballistic missile systems.

He suggested that the collapse of Iran’s current system could trigger broader regional shifts, including the weakening or end of groups such as Hezbollah, Hamas, and potentially the Houthis.

Netanyahu warned that the risks surrounding the Strait of Hormuz have become more pronounced amid ongoing tensions, saying that any disruption to maritime traffic would carry global consequences.

He also said that no actor had a complete picture of how events would unfold during the escalation, including Iran itself.

He accused China of providing technological components used in Iranian missile production, calling the issue concerning.

Netanyahu also said 'Israel' faces an international “information siege” and argued that efforts in what he described as the “war of narratives” have not been sufficiently effective.

Iran shrugs off Trump criticism

Tasnim News Agency, citing an informed source, reported Monday that US President Donald Trump’s negative reaction to an Iranian proposal “does not matter” to decision-makers in Tehran.

According to the source, Trump’s public dissatisfaction is often viewed as a sign that a plan may be favorable from Iran’s perspective.

“When Trump expresses disapproval of a plan, it is often an indication that the plan is better,” the source said, according to Tasnim.

The source added that no one in Iran is working to design proposals aimed at pleasing the US president, stressing that Tehran’s decisions are based on its own strategic considerations rather than Washington’s approval.
