Arab Member of the Knesset and leader of Ta'al party Ahmad Tibi slammed ‘Israeli’ Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir after a video was released of the latter receiving a cake from his wife for his birthday - decorated with a noose in a reference to his calls for executing Palestinian detainees.
In an interview with Hebrew radio 103FM, MK Tibi said that Ben-Gvir and his wife are “two psychopaths” that need a psychiatrist.
"I am forced to use my additional function as a doctor even though this case is not my specialty," Tibi, who’s a physician, said.
"This family needs a psychiatrist urgently. Urgently. These are two psychopaths, but this psychopathy has supporters in the Israeli public."
Ben-Gvir’s wife, Ayala, inscribed the cake with “sometimes dreams come true” on the occasion of the minister’s birthday.
A law which permits executing Palestinians detainees in ‘Israeli’ prisons convicted of alleged “terrorism”, passed its second and third readings in the Knesset in March, to the joy of Ben-Gvir and many extremist right-wing ‘Israeli’ politicians.
"Usually, on a birthday cake, people wish for a better future, love. These people are sanctifying hatred and death, and therefore this situation is truly a psychiatric medical condition that requires treatment,” Tibi continued.
