‘Israeli’ military frustrated with Hezbollah drone threat: Hebrew media

The ‘Israeli’ military is increasingly worried by the threat posed by explosive drones fired by Hezbollah in southern Lebanon, and the issue has become a “major concern” for ‘Israeli’ troops, according to the ‘Israeli’ army radio.

The report cited a senior military meeting held at Ramat David Airbase, where commanders warned that Hezbollah drones are a “significant operational challenge” and that preparedness must be increased.

“There is not much to do about it,” one commander was cited as saying in the report, complaining that there are no defensive measures, and that ‘Israeli’ troops are instructed to only remain alert and open fire if they see a drone.

The report also adds that, six months ago, the ‘Israeli’ Air Force commander Tomer Bar was reprimanded by the chief of staff Eyal Zamir over the handling of drone threats.
