  • Jordanian authorities report no missile or drone attacks in the past 24 hours, with only minor debris incidents causing limited damage and one injury.

The Jordanian Armed Forces announced on Tuesday that no missiles or drones targeted Jordanian territory over the past 24 hours.

In a joint statement with the Public Security Directorate, the military’s media department confirmed that the kingdom’s land and airspace had not been subjected to any attempted attacks since Monday.

The statement clarified that sounds of explosions in the sky and the fall of some debris or projectiles in border areas were the result of interceptions originating west of Jordan’s borders.

The spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate added that specialized teams from the Armed Forces and security agencies responded to debris and projectiles over the past 24 hours.

The directorate reportedly handled eight incidents of falling shrapnel or projectiles, one of which caused an injury in Aqaba Governorate. The injured person received on-site medical treatment and is in stable condition.

Limited material damage was also reported in Aqaba and Karak governorates, according to the Public Security Directorate spokesperson.

The statement emphasizes the ongoing vigilance and readiness of Jordanian security and military forces to respond to any potential threats along the kingdom’s borders.
