Irish actor Liam Cunningham, best known for playing Davos Seaworth in Game of Thrones, blasted ‘Israel’s’ newly passed death penalty law for what they say is “Palestinians convicted of deadly attacks,” calling its supporters “genocidal, apartheid psychopaths.”
In a post on X, Cunningham quoted a video of far-right National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir celebrating the legislation’s passage outside the Knesset, and pouring drinks for his colleagues.
Ben-Gvir described the law as “historic” and said, “Soon we will count them one by one.”
Cunningham wrote: “Genocidal, apartheid psychopaths. Supported, armed and cheered on by the West. Utterly shameful. The Hague will be busy…….. If we have an ounce of moral backbone.”

The measure, approved by the Knesset, makes execution the default sentence in ‘Israeli’ military courts for certain -alleged- offenses by West Bank Palestinians.
Cunningham has always been vocal on Palestinian rights issues in the past, and previously participated in a flotilla to deliver aid and break the ‘Israeli’ siege on Gaza.
