  • Qatar Airways expands flights to 120 destinations and offers flexible booking options.

Qatar Airways announced on Wednesday an updated flight schedule reflecting a gradual increase in air traffic to and from Doha, with its global network expected to reach more than 120 destinations by mid-May 2026.

The airline said all flights continue to operate through designated air corridors created in close coordination with the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority to ensure the highest safety standards.

Travel advisories and operational updates

Qatar Airways noted that flight schedules remain subject to change or cancellation due to regulatory or security circumstances beyond the airline’s control.

The carrier urged passengers to ensure their contact details are updated through its website or mobile application so they can receive the latest information regarding their flights. Travelers were also advised to head to the airport only if they hold confirmed and valid tickets.

Passengers can monitor schedule updates through the airline’s official website.

Flexible booking and refund options

As part of its efforts to assist travelers affected by current disruptions, Qatar Airways announced flexible options for confirmed bookings scheduled between February 28 and June 15, 2026.

These include the possibility of changing travel dates free of charge, allowing passengers to select a new travel date up to October 31, 2026, subject to seat availability.

Passengers may also request a refund for the unused portion of their ticket, although the airline noted that the processing time for refunds may take up to 28 working days.

The airline concluded its statement by apologizing for any inconvenience caused and reaffirmed that its teams are working to ensure passengers reach their destinations safely, stressing that the safety of travelers and flight crews remains its top priority.
