US, 'Israel' report heavy casualties as war against Iran enters third week

As the US-'Israeli' war against Iran enters its third week, official casualty figures from Washington and ’Israel’ show mounting losses among military personnel and civilians.

The Pentagon has confirmed 13 US soldiers killed since the campaign began on February 28, including troops killed in Iranian missile and drone strikes and incidents such as aircraft crashes.

Military officials also reported about 200 US service members wounded, with most injuries described as minor and a number of soldiers treated across multiple countries in the region, including Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Jordan, Bahrain, Iraq, and ‘Israel’.

‘Israel’ losses and injuries

‘Israel’ has acknowledged 12 deaths, including civilians killed in Iranian rocket attacks and soldiers killed in fighting in southern Lebanon, amid a broader wave of Iranian strikes on cities and military sites.

The ‘Israeli’ Ministry of Health says local hospitals have treated thousands of wounded, with hundreds injured over the course of the war.
