Past controversy and family allegations
Shoshana had repeatedly accused her parents and one of her brothers of long-term sexual and physical abuse, filing a formal complaint in Italy and publicly sharing her allegations in April 2025.
“After a long period of doubt, extreme emotional states, and a lot of guilt, I wanted to share that I experienced sexual abuse by both of my parents and one of my brothers,” she said. She further alleged that her three younger brothers were victims of physical abuse. “After years of beatings and guilt, I finally spoke out. The memories are overwhelming, but I need justice.”
Her claims came amid wider scrutiny of the Strook family, including past criminal convictions of her brother Zviki and Orit Strook’s controversial political positions supporting illegal settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories.
Shoshana’s death follows months of high-profile controversy surrounding the family, who have faced criticism for extremist rhetoric and human rights concerns.
