  • Multiple explosions reported in Dubai, Doha, and Manama as Iranian missile and drone strikes hit Gulf countries.

Residents reported hearing multiple explosions in Dubai, Doha, and Manama for the second consecutive day, following Iranian strikes on Gulf countries in response to U.S. and 'Israeli' attacks targeting Iran.

Iran had previously announced its intention to target U.S. bases in the region and has already struck several other sites.

Incident at Dubai International Airport

Dubai Airports confirmed a “incident” at Dubai International Airport (DXB) late Saturday night, stating that emergency response teams were immediately deployed. Four people were injured and received urgent medical attention, though authorities have not disclosed further details about the nature of the injuries or circumstances of the incident.

The Dubai government media office confirmed the injuries in a post on X, saying, “Emergency response teams were activated immediately and are handling the situation in coordination with relevant authorities.”

Qatar: Injuries and Radar Damage

In Qatar, eight people were injured, including one in critical condition, in Iranian missile and drone attacks on Saturday.

The strikes also caused damage to radar systems at Al Udeid Air Base near Doha.

Bahrain: Drone Strike on Airport

In Bahrain, the Ministry of Interior reported early Sunday that Bahrain International Airport was targeted by a drone, resulting in material damage but no casualties.

The Bahrain Defense Force confirmed that its air defense systems intercepted the attacks, successfully destroying 45 missiles and nine drones, including Shahed 136 drones, attributed to Iran.

The attacks underscore rising tensions in the Gulf region and highlight the vulnerability of civilian and military infrastructure to escalating retaliatory strikes.
