  • Alan Dershowitz claims intelligence connections could have shielded Jeffrey Epstein from prison.
  • Experts note no verified evidence confirms Epstein worked for the CIA or Mossad.

In an interview on Piers Morgan Uncensored, attorney Alan Dershowitz suggested that if Jeffrey Epstein had been working for foreign or domestic intelligence agencies, it could have served as an unassailable legal defense against his sex crime charges.

Dershowitz, who represented Epstein during the controversial 2008 non-prosecution agreement, said intelligence ties would have been a “slam dunk” to avoid jail time.

"Telling me that he worked for the Mossad would have given him a get-out-of-jail-free card," Dershowitz said. "I could have gotten him no jail time… it would have been a slam dunk for me to go to whoever I had to go to, even up to the President of the United States".

When host Piers Morgan asked if such a connection would allow someone to “get off being a pedophile,” Dershowitz replied, “That’s right”.

Epstein’s alleged double life

The discussion revisits longstanding theories that Epstein served as an "access agent", gathering intelligence on influential figures via his luxury properties. Advocates of the theory point to:

Unexplained wealth despite limited conventional business activity.

High-level connections, including former 'Israeli' Prime Minister Ehud Barak and multiple US presidents.
The 2008 plea deal, with former US Attorney Alexander Acosta claiming he was told to back off because Epstein “belonged to intelligence.”

However, these claims remain unproven. FBI documents mention informants who suspected Epstein might have been a spy, but officials, including Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, have dismissed the theory as a “red herring.”

Dershowitz clarifies source credibility

The video’s assertions have been complicated by questions over its sources. Dershowitz told The Times of Israel that allegations linking Epstein to Mossad came from a discredited provocateur and that he personally never introduced Epstein to any intelligence agency.

"I never was an agent of the Mossad. I never introduced Epstein to anybody in the Mossad. All of it's completely false," he said, emphasizing that the discussion on Piers Morgan Uncensored was hypothetical, not based on verified fact.

A legacy of secrecy

Epstein died in a Manhattan jail in 2019 in a case ruled suicide, leaving a vacuum of accountability. The viral video, combined with Dershowitz’s comments, has reinforced public concerns about how wealth, power, and influence may shape the legal system. While speculation over espionage ties persists online, experts caution that no documented evidence confirms Epstein ever worked for intelligence services.
