Hamas says Peace Council’s responsibilities remain "unclear"

• Hamas urges the Peace Council to take concrete action to enforce the ceasefire and support Gaza.

Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qassem said the real test for the statements made by leaders at the Peace Council meeting is their ability to compel 'Israel' to halt its violations, deliver humanitarian aid, and begin reconstruction efforts in Gaza.

Separately, Hamas official Mohammad Nazzal described the council’s responsibilities as “unclear” and stressed that it must take action to ensure 'Israeli' Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu implements the ceasefire agreement.
